The Doors' Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison  Dec 8 1943 - July 3 1971  Best Known As: Lead singer of the band The Doors, will get a posthumous pardon on Thursday from his 1969 indecent exposure conviction in Florida. The posthumous pardon will come one day after the singer would have turned 67. The conviction being the result of a drunken Morrison teasing the Miami crowd. The surviving band members say Morrison teased the crowd, but never actually exposed himself, stating that  "It never actually happened". Morrison's defense attorney from that time, has said recently that the singer received a fair trial with credible witnesses on both sides. Fans who were at the show have different memories of what happened. The singer removed his shirt and fiddled with his belt, as fans poured onto the stage. The stage collapsed, and there was rioting  in the audience. There were 100 photos offered in evidence at the trial, but none proving that he had indeed exposed himself indecently. No matter if he did or did not, Jim Morrison, the world still loves you and will forever treasure your music and poetry.
