Crystal Bowersox and American Idol

I think it's crazy that in our society people would become involved in the antics of the site http://www.votefortheworst.com/ who's intentions are to keep people voting for the worst performances on the American Idol show. It's tough in the music industry as an artist to make your way and become recognized for your talent, do we really need people such as this hindering their efforts even more so?  Take Crystal Bowersox for instance. Undeniably pure, raw talent. Yet she has to deal with sites, such as Vote For The Worst and the media exploiting her efforts on what is already a tough road. There are many talented artists competing on American Idol. I just hope the American people who truly care about voting for worthy contenders, out number those who simply Vote For The Worst for the mere pleasure of causing an upheaval in a show that's intentions are to help struggling artists achieve success.
